Welcome to Burger Culture. Slingin’ Nelson’s best burgers, shakes & sides since 2017. Originally the brain child of The Williams’ family, BC was opened as the brain child of a few people with hospitality running through their veins, bringing together our their Cultures; Nelson & Bristol in the UK. Their two homes, melded into one, bringing art, great beer, amazing food, and wholesome service.

With over 60 years of collective experience in the industry (even our grandfather ran a pub in the early 1900s!), and a couple of businesses under their belt, trust us when we say we know what we’re doing. We even have a couple of awards to show for it, including Best Restaurant & Best Service 2019.

We’re proud to have been Nelson City’s original burger spot, and a fond favourite among locals and travelers alike. But mostly, we’re proud of our people, our phenomenal team of staff and the culture we’ve created. As a family business, we value teamwork, integrity, and welcoming everyone as one of our own.
